As the Innovation, Creation and Design Manager- Peru, you are a recognized specialist on the use and requirement of flavors who leads / coordinates timely project execution levaraging established regional netwoks in the aligned categories of Nourish BU.
You will develop direct reports - identify, develop & execute specific individual / team training programs in collaboration with category aligned resource / expertise.
Lead and / or coordinate execution of category aligned projects
Engage management to justify & obtain appropriate project resource or expertise
Recognized technical lead / coordinator to Sales / Marketing, Flavourist, S&CI, GRA & other departments to support the project execution
Coordinates & sets project (team) priorities to ensure timely execution
Participate in localizing category initiatives & / or new concept generation
Strong timeline & project decision-making (management) skills
Encouraging & enabling use of new & IFF approved materials (i.e. PoE) in flavors to offer IFF proprietary advantage
High level knowledge of recipe ingredients / raw materials and their function
Specialist on use & requirement of flavors for the aligned category
Focus & coordinate work on application specific recipe database
Advise & coordinate investigation of application formulation improvement
Able to lead / coordinate local & regional projects (clear role play)
Provides challenging & stretching tasks & assignments
Fosters category aligned networks / relationships
Implement C&A strategy at Star, Strategic & aligned global customers
Understands market taste differences / preferences & ensures concept / submission alignment
BS degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related disciplines
Intermediate-advanced english skills
Knowledge of food safety, raw materials, food regulations, sanitation and production processes
Minimum 5 years’ experience in food, ingredients, flavors or pharmaceutical industry.
5 years relevant industry experience in the specific field of expertise.
2 or 3 years exposure to interdepartmental cross-functional team roles (leader, participant, manager, etc).
