We are the Cloud Engineering Team, we have a fundamental technical role in Oracle's Cloud strategy and we work directly with our customers on the largest and most important projects and companies in Latin America.
We design innovative and transformational projects and use cases for our customers, based on our deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. We use our expertise in infrastructure (IaaS) and platform (PaaS) services to work together with our customers and implementation partners to develop technical architectures, best practices and projects that add value to the business. In our work it is common to work with infrastructure administrators, developers, network and security specialists, managers, among others, through heterogeneous and multidisciplinary work groups / squads.
For the excellence of our customers' experience, we take care that our projects and recommendations are technically based and bring the best cost / benefit to their needs. During the customer's first steps in our cloud, it is our job to help the customer build the foundation necessary for the successful adoption of our platform. In this service-oriented world, we continue together during the project's adoption as trusted advisors.
For this position we expect experience and deep knowledge in technology, infrastructure, Cloud Native, DevOps, Automation and architecture standards to drive digital transformation initiatives. Associate Certification in Oracle Cloud, or Amazon, Microsoft, Google, as well as Terraform is a differentiator.

Some desired technical skills:
• Practical experience in planning, developing and delivering migration projects from on-premise to cloud;
• Some experience in CI / CD & Automation Tools (Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Ansible, etc.);
• Strong understanding of systems development using traditional monolithic structures, distributed systems and Cloud Native;
• Knowledge of Oracle technologies such as databases, middleware, applications and hardware;c
• Knowledge of networking and communication protocols;
• Knowledge of working in agile and squad paradigm;
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
