Partner Sales Engineer (Security Solutions Group)
Come join our team as we continue to transform and expand the Ivanti Partner Program. We are looking for a key player on our Americas channel team, with responsibility supporting the technical understanding and engagement of high-performance partners on the Security Solutions Group.
As an Ivanti Partner Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for presenting Ivanti’s Everywhere Workplace’ SSG solutions to our most strategic and impactful channel partners.
As a Partner Sales Engineer, you will be tasked with delivering training, best practices and demonstrations of Ivanti solutions virtually and in person.
As an extended member of the Sales and Channels team, the Partner Sales Engineer will align with Ivanti Channel Sales Managers for local, regional, and national partners to create, update and deliver the partner technical enablement strategy.
This individual will have a significant impact on Ivanti’s Service Providers, MSPs, and Alliance Partners enabling the technical sales strategy and growth.
Candidate will lead the business architecture, technical discussions and enablement of our Hyperscale Partners (AWS, Google, MS) as well as all of SSGs Managed Service Providers.
Candidate will work directly with PLM to build the technical requirements for our solutions to be enabled with MSP as well as Marketing to build joint revenue plans.
This role reports to the Director of Channels; Americas.
Roles and Responsibilities
Work directly with the Americas Sales Team, PLM, Marketing and Channels to drive revenue through Partners, MSP’s and Hyperscalers.
Leads business and technical discussion for Projects & Sales Opportunities alongside Channel Account Manager
Ability to perform Security Solution Overview and Demo
Trade Show and Event Support at Partner driven events.
Assist with business value assessments enabling our partners, MSP’s and Hyperscalers.
Drive technical sales enablement with Ivanti Channel, Service Providers, and MSPs for the Americas
Go-to team member for all Partner Technical Enablement & Training requirements
Attend and participate in team calls and business reviews with CAMs
Be the lead and go to for setting up Partner NFR licenses, demo tenants, and other tools necessary for positive representation of Ivanti solutions
Perform demos and workshops using a train the trainer’ approach
Help set and execute on technical vision for our partners
Have strong Customer Relationship Skills, a Consultative and Collaborative Approach
Possess Strong Communication and Presentation Skills, able to present at all levels (C-Level, Tech Level, Biz level)
Extremely Organized and able to Drive / Quarterback Multiple Technical Sales Activities
Achieve quarterly revenue target and agreed MBOs
Perform other job duties as needed
Required Skills and Experience :
Understanding of the Service Providers, MSPs and Channel driven sales
Driven to be responsive and relentless with follow up - proven time management skills in a dynamic environment
Technically Driven - Spirit of Innovation and Creativity
Align Technology to real world problems, Proven Solver, Identify and build use case scenarios
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken ability to Know the audience
5+yrs in Enterprise Security Software Sales as well as extensive experience with both channel resellers and Managed Service Providers.
5+yrs Working in a matrix organization.
