Rentokil Initial is currently looking to recruit a new Managing director for our Latin America Business, in Peru; the position will be based in Lima City.
This is a new market result of a recent acquisition done in Chile; the Peruvian operation has only 12 people most of them technicians, support roles and other need to be hired while the operation grows (revenue, cash, profit).
The General Manager is the final responsible for developing and achieving the business strategy, growth and results in the market.
The General Manager has turnover and profit & loss (P&L) responsibility.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Responsible for the offer of integrated value for sales and services for pest control, and any other line of business may apply for the Peruvian market.
Initially it is only pest control.
Responsible and focused on the growth of strategic business areas, in order to maximize the benefit. In case of market saturation, consider the most appropriate acquisitions, ensuring compliance of all requirements and properly observing the M&A methodology processes, marketing and communication.
Responsible for the management team, providing effective leadership to support them in achieving the P&L goals. Mentor direct reports, especially when it comes to our values and vision.
Is responsible for effective development, management and execution of the country / branch related to operations, sales, finance and Human Resources assigned in order to ensure customer satisfaction and proper company performance in the market.
Responsible for supporting regional projects, when necessary.
Responsible for promoting and supporting change management processes.
Ensure the safety of personnel, and corporate and client assets.
Partner with cross-functional teams enabling functions - to effectively solve customer s and employee s challenges.
Main Focus and Challenges
Responsible for the efficient operation of the business, contract compliance, compliance with corporate policies and procedures, compliance with governmental rules and regulations, and client, partner, and government liaison at the local level.
drives continuous improvement processes, challenges existing processes and experiments with implementing improvements.
Network effectively with local clients, and develop strong professional relationships, constantly seeking for new growth opportunities for the pest control business within the country, in accordance with the regional and local framework through company acquisitions and / or new service lines.
Responsible for the overall company performance, but especially for sales and service teams.
In particular responsible to support and facilitate retention plans and, act as the power sponsor of global initiatives like Employer Of Choice.
Accountable for financial objectives and processes (budget, forecast, cashflow, revenue,
profit) and business plans.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, economy, or related business degree.
General management experience is a differential for working in this job.
Strong understanding of how a business operates is key for this job, especially from a sales and operational perspective.
Experienced professional with hands on operational know-how and needs to be able to deliver the highest standards of customer service.
Commercially / Marketing and financially strong, with experience of managing budgets and operating in a lean, cost effective environment.
Strong change management skills and influencing skills.

Qualifications & Experience
Experience as a service company management professional, with demonstrable experience in sales and service management, and with high level business experience and extensive team responsibilities.
Experience in a Service B2B environment is desirable.
English knowledge is a key requirement for the role.
