Growth Program Manager for China and SouthEast Asia (Remote, SG)
The Growth Program Manager for China and SEA owns the funnel metrics across every stage of the funnel to optimize for better conversion.
There are teams working on paid marketing channels, growth experiments, SEO and other growth levers, which are aligned to craft teams globally.
As a growth program manager, you will be working with cross functional teams : growth, content, data, and R&D, etc. to understand merchant journey, identify opportunities in the funnel, prioritize for the largest opportunities, hypothesize, build A / B tests, interpret results and roll-out winning variants across the countries in your purview.
You need to be highly hands-on, innovative, collaborative and most importantly, passionate about the merchant experience and obsessed with finding new and creative ways to improve funnel efficiency.
Grow and retain Shopify's merchants by developing marketing strategies that increase conversion and foster retention
Work cross-functionally to build a thorough understanding of the funnel, identify experience gaps and points of frictions for new merchants
Develop holistic A / B experiments to test and improve the journey, including website, signup flow, onboarding emails and so on, prioritizing and scheduling these experiments to be run continuously
Identify opportunities to develop, test, implement and scale programs / content that aid in the onboarding, setup and first-sale of new merchants
Sharing feedback for product improvements; responsible for tangible growth goals; track, analyze and report on progress towards goals
3+ years of relevant working experience, with experience in lifecycle marketing, customer success, loyalty marketing, email marketing or CRM in China, or for Chinese products targeted at Chinese end users
Full-stack marketer with experience developing and implementing omni-channel, personalized activation and retention programs that increase conversion and adoption
Strong understanding of marketing funnels and proven ability to identify growth opportunities at the various stages of the funnel
Deep experience using data and analytics to measure, especially tools such as Tableau, SQL, Excel
The ability to thrive in ambiguity, iterate fast
Ability to work independently as a self-starter, with outstanding project organization, multi-task and prioritization skills and great verbal and written communication ability in both Chinese and English
A deep understanding of marketing B2B and B2C SaaS products and cross-border e-commerce is preferred
