We are looking for a highly capable US Compliance professional to join our team and work from our Irvine (CA) office.

The primary duties and responsibilities of the role are :

  • Responsible for implementing systems, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements.
  • Ensures that the company complies with federal and state requirements by studying existing and new legislation. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
  • Coordinates all federal and state requests and audit activity.
  • Enforces adherence to regulatory requirements and advises management on needed actions.
  • Enhances organizational reputation by accepting ownership by ensuring all state and federal requests are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
  • Explores opportunities to stream line processes and improve compliance efficiencies.
  • Actively involved with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance is fully integrated into the quality control program.
  • Establishes controls to ensure vendor partners meeting all state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with the Legal Department and Government Affairs.
  • Robust technical background preferred in the following areas : Knowledge of claim compliance requirements for all 50 states.

    Core qualifications and requirements for this position include :

  • A minimum of five years ’ experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks.
  • Exhibit a natural curiosity.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent evaluation and strategic skills required.
  • Must work independently and demonstrate the ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and other business-related software.
  • Polished and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel, sometimes overnight, up to 15% of the time.
  • The ability to read and write English fluently is required.
  • Must demonstrate a desire for continued professional development through continuing education and self-development opportunities.
