Main Purpose :
Supervise, plan, and organize the activities about the mine in the methods longhole drill underground (direct drilling and blasting activities) interacting with the Mine Operations, Geomechanics, Geology, and Productivity areas.

Bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering (Certified by Engineer School).
A minimum of 7 years related job experience mining operation. (4 years in the direction of drilling activities and blasting of long drill method)
English : oral and written Intermedium.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (basic level), with teamwork skills and personnel management
Knowledge about very complex procedures and systems and in specialized or functional activities.
Keeping safety above all else, respect, raising the bar, commitment and doing the right thing
Strong collaboration skills that enable building strong, positive relationships with diverse groups
The ability to anticipate potential problems and check for out-of-the-ordinary conditions, as well as having a strong sense of accountability

Key Responsibilities :
Responsible for directing and supervising the implementation of the Long Drills system, coordinating with the support areas the design of the method, supervising workers in drilling, blasting activities.
Key Relationships and Department Overview :
Reporting to the Mine Superintendent, the Mine Deeping Section Chief plays a key role in the safe and productive operation of the crew.
This position follows a days and nights rotation and this activity will take place inside the mine.
