Product Manager - Malaysia
The Product Manager will be part of the global MATRIXX Product Management organization and interface with many corporate teams such as sales, pre-sales, services and engineering.

This is an individual contributor position with very high visibility in the company. The role will work closely with the customers to understand the business use cases, analyze potential product gaps, gather the technical requirements, work with the global Product Management team and Engineering, specify technical solution blueprints for deployment, and document functional requirements for roadmap evaluation.
The Product Manager will function as the primary focal point for the customers for any roadmap related and strategic initiative discussions.
The role requires presenting the vision for each stage to other stakeholders; defending and adapting the positioning as necessary based on all party’s feedback.
To communicate the vision of major new features effectively, you must possess the ability to create extensive high-quality supporting collateral and deliver the message with strong presentation skills in front of both internal and external audiences.
The Product Manager will break down business requirements into clear unambiguous technical requirements supported by concise user stories that the developers are able to implement.
The role provides a critical interface for the MATRIXX engineering and partners and is responsible for the solution specification and acceptance of work.
The Product Manager must understand the MATRIXX product capabilities together with the higher-level business requirements in order to effectively design the solution and specify low level technical tickets for the development team.
The ideal candidate will display the ability to respond quickly to changing business needs, priorities, and timelines. Past experience working on Telco BSS applications is highly desirable.
Frequent travel will be required, upon approval.
You Will Do :
Manage the MATRIXX BSS suite of applications with little direct supervision.
Work with the field teams, partners and customers to define product requirements
Communicate product roadmap and unique differentiators to internal groups and outside partners / customers
Create user stories and use cases
Work in a strict SLDC environment with ability to advance high traffic work of distributed nature through analysis and gates without supervision
Review functional specifications and high-fidelity visual design
Liaise with engineering and external design agencies for design and definition of requirements
Ensure the right blend of trade-offs to maximize the product impact in the marketplace
Work with product marketing and sales to create product positioning, content, collateral and tools
Work with UX and UI teams to create functional specifications for new features (in the form of user stories and tickets.
You Will Bring :
10-15+ years in the role of hands-on Product Management or technical Pre-Sales or Professional Services in the telco BSS space
Previous experience defining integration requirements and interface specifications and API technologies between OCS, Billing, CRM, Catalog, Network and other northbound applications
A solid understanding of cloud native technologies and concepts and applicability to BSS space
Strong knowledge of 5G concepts and service-based architecture
In-depth understanding of database, streaming and Big Data technologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms
Experience working with remote and highly distributed teams
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer science or Information Technology
Experience in a customer-facing technical role (including responding to RFPs and building technical proposals)
