Kuehne+Nagel is looking for a detailed oriented, self-driven, motivated Purchasing Specialist for its office in Bucharest!
Your Role
As Purchaising Specialist is responsible for ensuring that a business is able to acquire needed supplies, materials and other relevant items, following a strict budget and keeping records of all the transactions.
Your Responsibilities
Holding tenders and bidding activities, evaluating ofthe proposals, preparing specifications,
Being able to keep up with the daily demand rate,
Managing the purchase of consumables, officematerials, cleaning products, work equipments and other equipments needed onthe offices and warehouses throughout Romania,
Forming cost calculations for the relative products,drive new projects to decrease the costs in suppliers
Issuing purchase order to supplier and follow up thestatus of delivery,
Evaluating the supplier's performance systematically,
Responsible for indirect purchasing, finding anddeveloping alternative suppliers as well as managing the monthly bulkpurchasing processes of offices across Romania
Market scan services for security and passengertransport on our working points in Romania. To establish after what actions areappropriate with obtaining cost-advantages for company
Purchasing or renting technical equipments for thewarehouses throughout Romania, defining technical aspects (weight to belifted, no.
of wheels, service availability and reaction time, full servicecosts and spare parts availability, replacing equipment)
Look for the new suppliers necessary to open a newoffice in different areas of Romania depending on the requirements
Your Skills and Experiences
Excellent and effective communication andinterpersonal skills
Good analytical and coordinating abilities
Must be proactive and be able to pay keen attention tothe smallest of details
Experience with management of financial resources
Must be able to manage time effectively and alsomeet / beat deadlines
A minimum of 3 years working experience in a similarrole
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point -a plus for database management)
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supplychain management, or a similar field preferred.
Advanced level of English both verbal and writing
