Why does this job exist and why is it critical? Manage day-to-day support of all production platforms to ensure the high availability, integrity of the cloud infrastructure, servers, virtualization, storage, backup, database, middleware & IT network services.

Effectively coordinate, perform, and complete multiple duties and assignments concurrently in a fast-paced environment and in a timely manner.

Manages competing demands; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Responsible for overall system and infrastructure availability and develop a resilient infrastructure to reduce failures.

Implement policies to improve the quality and efficiency of support services based on ITIL methodology. Ensures that systems, processes, and methodologies are maintained, followed to ensure effective monitoring, control and continuous support of operation.

Manages infrastructure including servers, operating systems, hypervisor, SAN storage, SAN switches, backup technologies, network devices, processes, tools and vendors to support system, ensuring processes are in place to address infrastructure outages, handling all escalated issues.

Direct involvement in incidents or problems that cause service impact and acts as escalation point for incidents not being resolved in a timely manner.

Develop and maintain continual services improvement plans (in close cooperation with Service Management) to ensure the IT infrastructure able to supports the business needs adequately.

Ensure that all infrastructure components are managed to the appropriate level of risk with respect to security patches, software / firmware revision levels and supplier supported versions.

Manages and ensure platforms are efficiently utilized, the cost to operate and support the platforms aligns with business expectations, and that all regulatory and compliance requirements are met for all platforms.

Provides a secure, compliant, robust, reliable, and efficient infrastructure and directs infrastructure support strategy and operations.

Ensure maximum accountability and accuracy for management of technology assets, vendors, software licensing, and hardware support.

Manages activities related to keeping the infrastructure performing optimally including backing up the systems, performance tuning, installing operating system upgrades and patches, and ensuring the 24*7 operation support Key Performance Measures : 100% of Incidents, Service Request (SR) and Event Resolved within 3 hours (Severity 1) 100% of Incidents, Service Request (SR) and Event Resolved within 6 hours (Severity 2) 99% Operational Changes implemented successfully and on time 100% of Problems have an RCA within 3 days from when Incident is Resolved (Severity 1) 100% of Problems have an RCA within 3 days from when Incident is Resolved (Severity 2) (99.
