AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented ICT Coordinator for employment in our Lima, Peru office.
Our Lima Airport project team is seeking an ICT Coordinator to coordinate the design of active and passive systems such as structured cabling systems, extra-
low voltage building control and communications systems, typically deployed in aviation related projects within landside and airside facilities of varying complexity and size.
This role will be the lead ICT coordinator for ICT requirements design and construction drawings, specifications, reports and studies for the ICT physical infrastructure to support airport operations.
The skills required for this role include client coordination, technical site surveys, site investigations, management of site installation activities, knowledge of building services prerequisites for ICT systems including power, heat and environmental criteria for safe operations and technical assurance when delivering ICT designs.
The role will require knowledge of enabling high performance and high availability systems within design solutions.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :
Provides day to day support, information and drawings as requires for meetings, coordination and resolution of design issues
Client liaison and relationship management
Coordination with different geographies of the ICT requirements production of concept, schematic and detailed designs and construction drawings in compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
Requirements management and validation
Ensuring that the quality of project work meets agreed standards, specifications and delivery schedules
Carry out QA checks of drawings and documentation completed by the team producing design deliverables such as Technicians / Engineers / Design / Other Consultants
Maintain a reliable and consistent written and verbal communication interface with Technicians, Engineers and Consultants and excellent report writing skills
Coordinate ICT design work using AutoCAD and BIM designs and specifications
Liaison with other contractors, companies, suppliers and internal / external multi-disciplined engineering teams
Awareness of security and information assurance
Responsible for coordination and support of all ICT elements for the Project
Direct coordination with Airport Operator and Client
Responsible for coordinating stakeholder input for these items
Bachelors degree in Engineering related to the role or equivalent experience in the sector or in related industry sectors in telecommunications
structured cabling system design for in-building and outside plant
Have relevant experience and understanding of building services infrastructure and the design of resilient ICT systems
Ability to develop production working relationship with key clients and suppliers at all levels, including coordination with architect / MEP teams
Ability to plan and create documents / reports / design processes appropriate to the needs of the recipient
Demonstrable ability to provide agile working, schedule and program management and prioritizing workloads
Fluent in English
Competent in use of Revit, MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Master's Degree in Engineering
15+ years of experience
Proficiency in Spanish desirable
