Purpose and Objective of Position
Manager : Employee Experience is a member of the Global Talent Development team based in Kuala Lumpur. The team is responsible for defining and developing the overall strategy development of Training and Development, as well as Employee Experience across the entirety of Valiram, in both store and corporate.
This will be achieved through a committed and talented team striving for outstanding results; a diverse team comprising of differing nationalities, experiences and skills, working together towards a vision of exceptional people delivering exceptional experiences across all Valiram brands, to the delight of our internal and external customers.
Essential to the achievement of this vision is to communicate effectively to all internal constituencies to ensure their understanding and engagement with company strategy and core values.
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Global Talent Development, you will be responsible for working with various internal stakeholders to create line of sight to our strategy, goals, and initiatives, increasing employee engagement and creating brand advocates.
You will develop and implement successful employee experience strategies and tactics across the Valiram enterprise and assist in developing the strategic direction and overall communications from the Global Talent Development Team.
This is an opportunity for either a graduate with strong people skills and passion for employee experience and talent development, or someone with front line leadership and customer experience knowledge, looking to build a career in Talent Development and Employee Experience.

Key Requirements :
Education : Bachelor’s / University Degree
Work Experience :
At least 2 years of professional experience in retail operations, human resources or similar settings.
Knowledge and experience in multi-cultural environments.
Strong Employee Relation acumen with experience in employee engagement communications.
Proven management skills leading, motivating, managing assigned team members to effectively deliver predetermined learning goals and objectives.
Exceptional writing, verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate broad concepts into understandable messages
Critical knowledge & skills :
Passionate and curious about human behavior and culture.
Experience and familiarity with Instructional design and learning methodology a plus.
Strong verbal and written English (essential), Bahasa (essential) and Mandarin / Cantonese (preferred)
Proficiency in MS Microsoft; graphic design basics and other languages are a plus
