The Director of Teaching and Learning at the Nueva is an integral part of the school’s leadership team, serving as the main coordinator of all items related to curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
Working closely with division heads, other school leaders, and all faculty and staff, the Director of Teaching and Learning is the leading advocate for excellence, aspiration, and coherence in the learning experience for all students at the school.
As part of this, the person in this role empowers those responsible for student learning, faculty and staff, to utilize their best professional practice at all times.
The person in this position reports directly to the Head of School.
Please note that applicants for this position should have significant experience in a PreK-12 school setting- at least five years in a senior level leadership role and several years of teaching.
