NCBA CLUSA is currently seeking 1 qualified U.S. Farmer-to-Farmer volunteer candidate for the position of Digital Advertising Specialist to support DEVIDA based in Huánuco, Peru.
The National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs DEVIDA, is a public executing agency which reports to the president of the Council of Ministers in charge of designing and leading the National Strategy for the Fight against Drugs in Peru.
DEVIDA’s Tingo Maria office assists cacao cooperatives, entrepreneurs and associations in Huánuco by sponsoring their participation in fairs to increase their customer base and widen their commercialization networks.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 has prevented national and / or regionals fairs from occurring in 2020 and encouraged online sales which have become the leading global commercialization channels.
Consequently, DEVIDA has been working with entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and associations to design these virtual stores.
For this assignment, they would like a volunteer to help them finalize their cost-efficient advertisement plan which will continue to support their cacao cooperatives.
Despite DEVIDA sponsoring the design of 4 virtual stores and 6 websites including links to VISA card payment options, they do not have a commercialization strategy that their members may use.
To make DEVIDA initiatives sustainable, they need a commercialization strategy to make virtual stores sustainable and profitable for Huánuco's cooperatives and entrepreneurs.
By the end of this assignment, the volunteer will, have taught cooperative members 1) How to advertise and promote their virtual stores.
2) How to revitalize virtual stores to increase their sales and 3) How to develop trustworthy and profitable distribution channels for virtual stores.
