Project Manager III

Essential Job Functions :

The role will be responsible for the following key aspects :

Responsible for helping lead the overall project of building, equipping, staffing, validating and delivering on a world-class manufacturing facility.

As coordinator ensure each project team is reaching their deliverables and managing their project governance.

Ensure all project issues and risks are clearly communicated and escalated as appropriate.

Maintain and audit project documents; project plans, weekly reporting of project status, communication plans, risk registers, resource plans, etc.

Assist through the preparation of various presentations, workshop preparation, and project updates.

Ensures measurable success, by reporting project management metrics and targets, including but not limited to milestone adherence, resourcing, budget, etc.

Helps implements best-practice project management practices, applying learnings and continuous improvement principles as needed to ensure the highest quality of operations.

Help collaborate with finance to ensure the project stays on budget.

Helps manage resource allocation and associated guidance.

Requirements : Education

Education

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Bachelor of Business Administration

Licenses / Certifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification desired but not required. Agile training desired.

Experience

2+ years of proven experience in Project Management including planning, organizing, monitoring and helping lead complex projects.

2+ years leading projects in a manufacturing operation with experience working in a machining environment a plus.

Proven track record of managing projects, using appropriate processes and tools, delivering desired results.

Experience working with all levels of the organization and possess platform skills, presence, and confidence.

Competencies

Knowledge of project management too with advanced knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project, PlanView, Excel, etc.

Knowledge of resource management and allocation.

Understanding of business analysis, change management and performance improvement concepts.

Strong facilitation skills coupled with problem-solving capabilities.

Well organized, efficient note-taking skills, strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, target driven, as well as self-driven, resourceful, must have a positive attitude, ability to track deliverables, facilitate and coordinate project meetings.

The successful candidate will be self-confident, results-oriented, persuasive and influential.

Ability to present and communicate successfully at leadership meetings which require an excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
