Our client is looking for a Jefe de Logística & SSGG to join their team in Lima, Peru. The individual will focus on carrying out the activities for the correct supply of products and services necessary to offer the services that the company provides to its clients.
The professional main responsibilities will be :
Ensure that the products purchased are suitable for their purpose and that traceability is maintained. Ensure that the expenses to be incurred are necessary for the business purposes and that they are properly authorized by the appropriate levels of management before contracting a purchase commitment.
Responding to internal order requests for products and services from the different areas of the company, in order to meet the needs that the services demand.
Request orders for the products or services to be purchased, considering the suppliers including the List of Approved Suppliers as a priority (for both purchases and services).
Coordinate the follow-up of all the orders made and the balance with the inventory.
Ensure that all purchases and / or services to be contracted have the records indicated in the purchasing procedure.
Participate in the implementation and continuous improvement of the company's
Present the national purchasing plans, as well as lead the national bidding processes in strategic services. Periodically organize visits to suppliers.
Propose an annual savings plan and ensure the proposed savings in strategic purchases through national tenders.
Education, Experience and Skills Required
Degree in Administration / Engineering or similar.
Post graduate studies on Supply Chain Management.
Experience of 6 years in logistics, purchasing, or general services areas.
Experience of 2 years leading teams.
