We have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions team in Bucharest. As a Project Engineer, you will lead a cross-functional team onthe design, development and implementation of search and rescue technology andwill provide technical authority for assigned program(s).

You will be integralin creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Youwill be involved in every aspect of the systems life cycle, from the front endof business development through the product end of life.

Project Engineer responsibilities :

Overall technical coordination of design and development activities within the engineering functions to ensure that all customer requirements are addressed;

Establish and maintain detailed technical plans and schedules;

Manage the product definition process from requirements definition through design, development, validation & verification, and introduction to production;

Point of contact with all internal departments including Integrated Supply Chain, Quality, Contracts etc.;

Lead customer design reviews, technical co-ordination meetings and engineering inputs with support from appropriate functional groups as required;

Support proposal preparation for the new business pursuits;

Integration of the SAR (Search & Rescue) Systems.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Telecommunications;

Minimum 5 years of experience providing project engineering or field support services, ideally in Search and Rescue / SATCOM / RF signal processing fields;

Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT-OS (networking) field;

Availability to travel 25% at an international levelvisiting customers.
