This role will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operational function of the Pre-Sale Administration and Inbound Shipping teams.

Candidate will mitigate risk to the business in key areas by providing ongoing practical support, guidance and ensuring comprehensive starter / refresher training with Pre-Sale Managers.

The role will also oversee relevant in-depth reviews of process and systems, drive forward efficiencies and promote consistency by ensuring adherence to best practice.

Responsibilities : Provide day-to-day support and guidance to Pre-Sale Managers as well as wider Administration and IB Shipping teams including recruitment, onboarding, proper coverage and performance reviewsWork closely with management team in reviewing processes and implementing improvements to enhance workflow and service levelsCommunicate on behalf of Pre-Sale Operations across the global business to ensure efficiency and consistency in shared procedures and goalsEngage with BD / BM group on required actions, shared workflows and any departmental issuesPartner closely with Bids and Post-Sale teams to improve client administrative journey and strive to innovate constantly with this aimResponsible for completing end-to-end process review to identify and improve processes enabling an optimal end-state workflowSupport projects across the business including Inactive Inventory Initiative and work closely with Managers to meet inventory targets and reviewImplement and communicate company directives and policiesServe as key stakeholder and business owner for Pre-Sale and identify and prioritize technology requirementsAssist Managers and Admins with any escalations or complex issues, consignments, shipmentsAim to develop client self-serve, reduce paperwork, facilitate all administrative procedures internally and externallyWork constantly with other stakeholders in Service Operations to improve processes and improve client experience Key Skills & Experience Working knowledge of Sotheby's systems and procedures is essentialWell-organized, enthusiastic and proactive with a flexible approach, stress resistantProven management skills, creative problem solving and excellent interpersonal skillsStrong work ethic, able to work both independently and part of a teamAble to maintain highest standards of confidentiality and client service
