Bechtel is seeking Mechanical, Electrical and Civil / Structural Interns for the Lima, Peru Office to support various ongoing projects.
Bechtel’s internship program was created to cultivate real-life industry interest based on hands-on experience. Many new university graduate hires began their careers at Bechtel as a student intern.
Our M&M Internship Scheme is open to all undergraduates in the Mechanical, Electrical and Civil / Structural, disciplines.

Interns work in multidisciplinary teams and you will have a dedicated supervisor who will be responsible for providing you with a full and busy workload while ensuring we provide you with the best experience possible during your time with us.
Assists in conceptual designs, studies and reports.
Performs calculations and basic preliminary analyses.
Uses computer aided engineering / computer aided design (CAE / CAD) tools as directed.
Compiles, verifies and correlates data relating to engineering problems.
Coordinates assigned work with other technical personnel as directed.
Assists in development and verification of project control documents and status reports.
Participates in and fosters a work environment that is based upon openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree program in Engineering (Civil / Structural, Mechanical, Electrical) from a Peruvian University.
Basic technical knowledge of engineering systems and calculations, applications of engineering methods, construction materials, and application of computer-aided engineering (CAE) / computer-aided design (CAD) tools to engineering problems.
Active student from penultimate / last year of study
Right to work and remain in Peru without sponsorship
Eligible for an internship work in Peru
Full availability during all program extension January and February 2021
Preferable Qualifications :
Intermediate / Advanced English skills
