What the role is

The Regional Compliance Analyst helps process and prepare financial and business reports for the purpose of checking account balances, facilitating purchases, etc.

Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested by the finance director. Help oversee and manage individual accounts.

will help with the works in collaboration with the Country Team. This position will report directly to the Head of the Finance Director and will help to keep updated the developments and initiatives for the team agenda under its responsibility.

What you will be doing

  • Review, Analyze and record AP and AR invoices and expense reports into the system for the assigned countries and locations
  • Prepare all the reconciliation of each bank account assigned on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly accruals and provision of the invoices that need to be sent to Corporate Accounts Payable for the end of the month
  • Responsible for the coordination and presentation of the end of month reports for the corporate office.
  • Responsible for tracking expenses vs budget variances and report variances them to the department heads
  • Responsible for the reconciliation of non-cash balance sheet accounts assigned on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare monthly purchases report for the countries as requested
  • Operating cash flow management and projections
  • Preparation of sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices.
  • Manage accounts receivables at regional level, analyze aging and prepare monthly bad debt provisions
  • Assist with annual external audits and periodic internal audits as needed
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Assist with other projects as needed
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • What you need for the role

  • 2+ years of General Accounting
  • College degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • Audit and internal controls background preferred
  • Oracle / Proplan knowledge is a must.
  • Strong excel skills
  • Must have strong work ethics
  • Must be well organized and a self-starter
  • Must be able to follow standard filing procedures
  • Detail-oriented, professional attitude, reliable
  • Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable / general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
  • Ability to speak and write English.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately
