What the role is
The Development Project Manager works in collaboration with the Unit Level Construction team. This position will report directly to the Regional Head of Development and will help to keep updated the construction developments and initiatives under its responsibility.
What you will be doing
Work with Regional Head of Development to build and develop schedules & budgets
Coordinate all activities on-site as necessary
Liaison with contractors and suppliers to execute works
Update with the Country Partner and Head of Development on a routine schedule with budget and schedule performance against baseline
Manage risk response process on assigned project
Ensure health and safety procedures on assigned project
Hire and manage staff as necessary
Work with the country inspector to authorize contractor payment certificates
What you need for the role
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar field
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and construction best practices
Experience in a hospitality environment is preferred
Design experience is a must
English language (written and spoken) required; Spanish language skills are preferred but not required
Computer skills a must; drafting skills preferred
The qualified candidate will have a high level of organization and self-motivation and work well with hands
