Position Purpose & Summary

The position of of the Feed & Proteins Product Line has the responsibility of commercially leading one of the three product lines of Cargill Peru that supplies corn, soybean meal and imported by-products to the poultry and livestock industry in our country.

The Food and Proteins team is made up of a total of three sales representatives and this position is the oldest with the expectation that the team leads to achieve the objectives and develop the initiatives / projects.

It is a position that requires a high level of business relationship skills with different customer profiles and also a high analytical skills to master the many variables that affect business decisions.

Principal Accountabilities

65%Account management and commercial responsibilities for food customers. Keep close contact with feed Product Line Origination and Trading teams for key commercial decisions.

15%Coordinate sales execution, discharge of products with trade execution and logistics team.

10%Manage credit lines and risk mitigation tools for customers in coordination with Accounting&Finance team.

10% Provide market insights, supply&demand and commercial reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience including 5 years in commercial related roles.
  • High learning capacity and ability to adapt quickly to changing situations
  • Results oriented.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and high dynamic environment

    Strong customer relationship skills. Ability to develop and maintain deep customer relationships, building strong bonds.

    High sense of service to others balanced with savvy approach

    High level of customer focus, ownership and curiosity / drive to look for opportunities and results.

    Solid communication skills - Ability to articulate the communication within Cargill and with customers

    Account Management approach

    Analytical capabilities to understand the product line dynamics of the whole value chain, connecting trading / origination information with customers’ needs / opportunities.

    Deep country / region / credit and finance environment knowledge and expertise / Commercial Risk Assessment knowledge.

    Compliance regulations knowledge.

    Solid execution skills.
