The BDO Advisory Director Transformation and Growth is responsible for the development and execution of organic and inorganic growth strategies for BDO USA’s Advisory practice, with special emphasis on acquisition strategy, pipeline identification, due diligence and modeling, and post-acquisition integration.

Education :

  • BA / BS required, MBA preferred
  • Experience :

  • 10+ Years of experience in a professional services environment in a corporate development, M&A, or strategy role; client facing experience preferred
  • Demonstrated competency in post-acquisition integration in matrixed / cross functional organizations required; experience with integration of professional services firms preferred
  • Extensive hands-on experience in handling large organization wide transformational programs with matrix / cross functional teams
  • Software :

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Knowledge of CRM systems required
  • Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and research skills related to the retrieval and organization of high volumes of information
  • Demonstrated ability to create high-quality presentations and data sheets
  • Solid organizational skills, especially the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
  • Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
  • Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
  • Capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and client personnel
  • Ability to easily work in a matrixed team environment and contribute to the professional development of assigned personnel
