WHAT YOU'LL DO

The DigitalBCG Global Marketing Lead is an exciting opportunity to evolve our DigitalBCG marketing strategy and go-to-market plan, with a strong focus on delivering the events and Seat-at-the-Table (SATT) programs.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in planning and organizing marketing events and managing high-value sponsorship programs in a consulting or other relevant B2B marketing role.

This person will possess a high-degree of professionalism with senior stakeholders, keen operational focus, and strong delivery capabilities.

The role will require a self-starter eager to contribute, and willing to engage with a complex global team in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include :

Strategy : In partnership with DigitalBCG Leadership team and other members of the DigitalBCG Marketing team, continue evolve the DigitalBCG Marketing events and SATT portfolio to align with the needs of a fast-growing and changing business.

Key activities will include :

Provide strategic advice on target portfolio of events, competitor engagement, and prioritization to ensure highest impact client engagements

Identify, submit, and lead the advancement of BCG’s awards for our capabilities, offers and products

Events : Collaborating with the Global Practices, External Relations, PA and local / regional marketing teams to lead planning and delivery of DigitalBCG-supported events including major contributions to BCG’s global flagship programs.

Key activities will include :

Sponsorship negotiation / venue selection for events

Client engagement and outreach strategy

Overall event management and logistics (in partnership with other marketing teams)

Content programming and agenda development

PR, media digital channel and social media activation (in partnership with functional marketing teams)

Evolve our event liaison program to scale our Ambassador attendance at digitally-focused events as live events pick up in future years

Measurement / tracking key metrics and KPIs, etc.

BCG Digital Transformation Network (DTN) : Lead stakeholder management, format / content planning, membership development, metrics tracking and ongoing improvement of the DTN, a community of 100+ senior leaders of Digital Transformation.

The community interacts in quarterly calls (in collaboration w / an external facilitator running day-to-day operations).

Executive communications & management : You will be an advisor in helping DigitalBCG’s premier thought leaders build their brand and BCG’s in the digital transformation space.

Key activities will include :

Curate and develop best of DigitalBCG thought experts into a leading speaker roster, capable of communicating compelling research and ideas during our largest brand activations and highly targeted client conversations

Evolve our event

Content : This role will have a strong content amplification component, and being tightly integrated into the cross-practice, digital portfolio of thought leadership is essential to bringing our expert point of views to our events, networks and SATT activities.

Proactively finding opportunities to arm our experts with the latest firm research and perspectives will be essential to success.

Metrics : Development of insights on overall performance of DigitalBCG events, executive engagement and SATT activities, and recommendations for improvements.

  • YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • 6+ years relevant experience in a progressive marketing / communications roles
  • Technology, Digital, Analytics knowledge / experience required, professional services experience helpful
  • Demonstrated leadership / organizational / communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree (MA, MBA, PhD, JD, etc.) preferred
  • Fluent, polished command of English language (verbal & written), other languages a plus
  • Experience of working in in virtual and / or intercultural teams a plus
  • YOU'LL WORK WITH

    You’ll be part of the Global DigitalBCG Marketing team, consisting of the Marketing Sr. Director (Munich), two Marketing Managers (CHI / PAR), a Marketing Assistant (Munich), and two marketing interns (CHI) under the leadership of Thierry Chassaing, Managing Director & Senior Partner (Washington DC).

    You will work very closely and collaboratively with your colleagues in the Global Practices Marketing team, the Marketing teams in BCG Digital Ventures, BCG Gamma, BCG Platinion, various practice area marketing teams as well as colleagues in global and local marketing.
