The role of the Rehabilitation Associate is to teach, encourage, inspire, mentor, influence, instruct, nurture, and praise the individuals that you support.

We are person-centered, respectful, reliable, inclusive, and dedicated to our community!Medical Liaison Responsibilities : Maintains currents medical and medications on all assigned individuals on a daily, monthly and / or annual basis as specified by regulations.
Assists with scheduling, transporting and medical recording of medical appointments / consultations, physical examinations, lab work, dental, podiatry and other medically related issues.
Administers prescribed medication treatments / medications to individuals according to physician's orders and maintains accurate record keeping including : physician's orders, acquisition, storage and disposal.
Monitors Health health status of assigned individuals through observation and / or consultation with other residential staff.
Reports changes in health status to assigned Residential Services RN and Nursing Supervisor.Identifies related needs of assigned individuals and assists Planning Team in securing identified services to meet needs.
Performs Monthly review of medical / medication records and inspection or medication administration area in assigned residential setting for compliance with program policy and procedure.
Informs assigned Residential Services RN, Nursing Supervisor, and Residence Manager of deficient areas.Provides hands on physical care as needed.
Assists with emergency and first aid treatment when needed.Assists with employee Blood borne and other medical training as directed.
Advocates or timely, responsive, appropriate and respectful medical / clinical services for all providers.Adheres to agency and program policy as stated in Arc Wayne Personnel Policies and Residential Policy and Procedures Manual.
