mentoring, training and managing direct-report project managers; leading and developing new business; and actively collaborating across departments to ensure on time and in full delivery.
The Director works in cooperation with Account Management to plan for, staff and scope projects, and is accountable for the quality of the project delivery.
It will be required that you have experience working in high project volume environments and adeptly understand how to optimize workflows across departments to maximize agency efficiency.
You will also be responsible for the ongoing performance management and training of direct-report project managers. In addition to planning, staffing and scoping, you will often be asked to directly lead more complex programs or accounts.
What youll do Leadership Oversight and direct management of Project Management department. Ensure on-time on-budget delivery of projects to the highest quality across all clients.
Create and manage project related documents. Estimates, scope of work documents, requirements, risk assessments, specifications, schedules and budgets.
Financial management and communication of project budget status across business. Issue identification and resolution management.
Team Management and training of direct report Project Managers. Ensuring contact strategies are implemented across client and internal teams.
In collaboration with other department leads, define appropriate client team structures, project approaches and resource needs with discipline leads.
Interfaces with Account and Discipline leads to resolve project-related issues; escalates larger project issues and risk as needed for resolution.
Plan Independent management of complex projects / accounts. Participate in new business efforts. Plan and oversee the project management of multiple accounts ensuring that the projects are set up for success and that all deliverables have been completed and schedule and within specification and budget parameters.
Resource allocation and load-leveling of direct-report Project Managers. Process Ensures consistency and efficiencies across multiple client projects, as well as opportunities for delivery process improvements.
Authors or oversees the creation of project schedule, project brief, Statements of Work, change control procedures and cost estimates, with input from team members, as needed.

Team leadership and management experience. Ability to stay calm and collected in high volume environments. Ability to develop and document project parameters including scope, timeline, budget, costs, specifications and assumptions.
Detail-oriented and take-ownership attitude. Must be highly skilled in time management to facilitate involvement in multiple projects.
Must have the ability to work independently and manage communications in all organizational levels. Strong interpersonal skills.
Superb follow-up and organization skills, with strong attention to detail. Understanding of finance and revenue recognition.
