QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer, you will work with a project team to ensure quality delivery. You will be responsible for creating, implementing, and executing test plans and cases in an agile environment.

You will support the team by reviewing requirements and providing feedback to ensure that the product meets the needs of the end users.

The Role

  • Estimate QA effort for tasks in a project
  • Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, and test results
  • Verify that features and bug fixes are working as expected
  • Ensure compliance with testing best practices and standards
  • Conduct application regression testing, including both manual / automated scripts to be executed
  • Identify and communicate defects in a timely manner
  • Create, maintain, and execute test strategies, test plans and test scripts
  • Participate in end-to-end testing
  • Take part in retrospectives with the QA team to facilitate continuous process improvement
  • The Requirements

  • Fluent in speaking and writing English
  • Proven experience analyzing use cases and requirements to develop test cases and ensure the delivery of quality software applications
  • 3+ years of manual testing experience, preferably in an agile environment
  • Knowledge in testing web applications
  • Experience with defect tracking and test case management tools
  • Nice To Have

  • Knowledge of industry standard agile project delivery frameworks such as Scrum
  • Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Familiarity working on Pega systems or a similar BPM suite (not mandatory)
