Overview The Housekeeping Supervisor will supervise the daily activities of Housekeeping Team Members to ensure maintenance and cleanliness of hotel rooms, corridors, landings, and equipment.
This position will ensure that Team Members meet productivity expectations and perform their duties to a Four Diamond standard established by the department.
Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. Essential Functions Oversee job performance to meet departmental standards.
Ensure projects and daily assignments are completed accurately and in the most efficient manner. Implement and enforce department rules on a daily basis.
Assign and monitor daily tasks and complete all necessary paperwork. Assist with Team Member inspection reports. Initiate, enforce and maintain the corrective counseling system.
Prioritize tasks and responsibilities according to staffing and facility needs. Maintain a safe environment internally and externally.
Submit maintenance requests as necessary. Monitor use and maintenance of all cleaning equipment, radios, and keys. Have knowledge of SDS booklet location for your area.
Be familiar with OSHA safety codes regarding chemicals. Responsible for motivating, developing and directing Team Members.
Assist Housekeeping Management with developing and enhancing training and incentive programs. Conduct interviews for Housekeeping personnel recruitment.
Assist with Team Member inspection reports.
