Join our Core Business Services (CBS) team and help support important business enablement functions that keep our organization running strong.

As a CBS professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability.

Working with the Talent Team, you’ll help develop and execute our people strategy and solutions, including the programs, measures and tools that help our EY member firm’s employees achieve their goals.

You will lead as well as support the development and implementation of strategies for performance management, leadership development, learning, reward and wellbeing, recruiting, onboarding reporting processes and other initiatives.

The opportunity

As a Total Reward Manager, you will lead in formulating and delivering Malaysia’s Total Rewards strategy and objectives, shape how Total Reward respond to and deliver in building the workforce of the future.

As part of the Total Reward team, you will work with our wider Talent team and business leaders to bring together components that contribute to the total value of working at EY.

Your key responsibilities

Reporting to and supporting the Total Reward Leader, the candidate’s responsibilities include :

Manage market benchmarking and analysis on competitiveness of reward structure and practices against market data and best practices

Provide advisory to stakeholders to better understand market reward trends, job mapping to external market and making sense of salary survey data

Engage in job evaluation, design and build pay structures for new roles and career frameworks and review existing structures for relevance

Lead the annual budget planning exercise on reward’s budget proposals and work with Talent Consultants to engage business stakeholders on market competitive compensation

Drive annual salary and bonus review involving in-depth analysis and cost modelling for proposals to leadership and key stakeholders

Support the annual benefits review and insurance renewal involving market analysis, plan design, cost modeling, communications and implementation

Ensure reward programs are in compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls

Participate in reward-related projects and initiatives driven by region and global

Skills and attributes for success

Hands-on experience in building pay structures and designing compensation plans with firm foundation in Compensation Management’s quantitative principles

Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities to design and manage Compensation & Benefits program, perform cost-benefit analysis and process development

To qualify for the role, you must have

A graduate qualification

Five to 8 years working experience leading and managing Total Rewards initiatives

Persuasive and comfortable in advisory role with strong interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills

Attention to detail, deadline oriented and ability to work in a complex environment

Good stakeholder management skill

Strong sense of ethics and confidentiality

High level of competence in Excel and familiarity with SuccessFactors will be a plus
