Compile and record production data for industrial establishments to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures and using different word processing techniques.
Calculate such factors as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and worker and department production rates, using a computer, calculator, and / or spreadsheets.
Writing production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats, maintaining files of documents used and prepared, compiling detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by production workers as guides in assembly or manufacture of products.
Prepare written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities, compiles material inventory records and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies charts production using chart, graph, or pegboard based on statistics compiled for reference by production and management personnel.
Sort and distribute work tickets or material and may compute wages from employee time cards and post wage data on records used for preparation of payroll.
Plan, schedule and integrate complex events.
Position requires a U.S. Department of State Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT).
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION REQUIRED :
High School diploma or GED.
A.A. / A.S or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Minimum four (4) years experience relating to production control, data entry and clerical work.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Must be able to write read, and understand technical publications related to US Army Ground maintenance operations and reporting.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to utilize Internet explorer to research parts availability, and other data needed to improve mission capable rates.
Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
Must demonstrate skills in administrative and clerical duties to include preparation of production efficiency reports, control memos, letters, and other communications;
mathematical calculations pertaining to this classification.
Ability to communicate well with workers and management.
US Army logistical knowledge experience highly desirable.
Knowledge of US Army and Dept of Defense logistic systems desirable. Specialized vocational, technical, or other formal training may be substituted in part for experience requirements.
