Lyve Cloud is an exciting new entry of Seagate in the Cloud services marketplace. Seagate is now proud to offer storage in the Cloud.
Our Object Storage is S3 compatible and positioned for multiple data-intensive use cases - including backend for backup and archive, big data analytics, and several others, across industry verticals.
Lyve Cloud Engineering is an agile fast-moving team, responsible for building, operating, and managing Seagate’s Cloud infrastructure, API and fully automated CI / CD pipeline.
A blend of skillsets and diverse background makes this a cross-functional team that delivers the technology and that serves millions of daily active users.
About the role - you will :
Drive outcomes by facilitating agile ceremonies with at least 2-3 Agile teams
Oversee team level metrics and seek relentless team improvements (Burndown, Status, Risk, Test Coverage, etc.)
Create an environment for team collaboration, transparency and engagement toward sprint goal and product roadmap
Collaborate with other Agile coaches and Scrum Masters
Represent the team at ceremonies and report impediments that may require escalations
Ensure dependencies (across team, upstream / downstream) are understood and seek on resolving the dependencies or escalate as required
Discuss and resolve all impediments to the teams progress, for the team to focus on the work needed
Coach successful virtual scrums where teams are not co-located Work closely with Product Owner / Project Manager and team to finalize the project deliverables, prioritization, estimations and planning
Champion the Agile / Scrum process and evangelize the principles within the team. Perform all other duties as assigned by the Leadership Team
About you :
Self-driven, proactive and out of the box thinker
Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic work environments and shifting demands
Highly collaborative, team-oriented and an effective communicator Must be flexible and demonstrate good judgment / decision-making skills
Possess Knowledge in TDD, BDD is a plus Scrum Master Certification / Agile Coach Certification is a plus
Your experience includes :
More than 7 years in professional software engineering role
More than 3 years as Scrum Master / Agile Lead role
Software development background with extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices
Knowledge / application of Agile tool, Jira, Smartsheet and other working tools
Successful Agile adoption, at scale
