Channel Sales Engineer (Enterprise Service Management)
Come join our team as we continue to transform and expand the Ivanti Partner Program. We are looking for a key player on our Americas channel team, with responsibility supporting the technical understanding and engagement of high-performance partners on the Enterprise Service Management solutions.
As an Ivanti Channel Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for presenting Ivanti’s Everywhere Workplace’ ESM solutions to our most strategic and impactful channel partners.
As a Channel SE, you will be tasked with delivering training, best practices and demonstrations of Ivanti solutions virtually and in person.
You will be accountable for gathering the partner’s technical requirements for new features and passing those to the SE and Product Management team.
As an extended member of the Sales and Channels team, the Channel SE will align with Ivanti Channel Sales Managers for local, regional, and national partners to create, update and deliver the partner technical enablement strategy.
This individual will have a significant impact on Ivanti’s indirect sales program and will maintain and track towards KPIs and SLAs as a component of their overall compensation.
The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker with strong communication skills and the ability to map strategy to tactics to help drive change and growth throughout the business.
This role reports to the Director of Channels; Americas.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead from the front as technical go to’ in developing, and advancing the capabilities of Ivanti’s Indirect Partners
Support CAMs and Partners in annual business plan development and review on quarterly basis
Drive technical enablement with Ivanti Channel and Indirect teams for the Americas
Drive and measure sales and technical enablement plan for key Ivanti Strategic Partners
Go-to team member within the territory for all Channel Technical Enablement & Training requirements
Serve as internal channel ambassador and liaison to Ivanti TA and SA Teams
Help the Ivanti Channel Team and Partners with the technical elements of pending opportunities in support of, or in place of, Partner technical resources
Attend and participate in team calls and business reviews with CAMs
Attend User Groups / Marketing Events, Partner Meetings and other activities when appropriate
To advise the service, project, and / or partner team on risks and issues arising from the sales process, and propose mitigations for the implementation
Contribute to the Ivanti technical content library with a focus on partner technical enablement
Generate product demo scripts and scenarios, and help maintain the partners demonstration environment(s)
Be the lead and go to for setting up Partner NFR licenses, demo tenants, and other tools necessary for positive representation of Ivanti solutions to their customers and prospects
Assist the Channel Team in the qualification of new and potential partners, and as needed - customer needs aligned to Ivanti solutions
Perform demos, POCs, and workshops using a train the trainer’ approach
Help set and execute on technical vision for our partners
Determine technical competency of partners to allow CAMs to set overall business and partnership direction
Assist team members when they are stuck, and helps others level up their skills by providing kind, constructive and direct feedback
Ensure the facts and technical details are accurate for each demo, workshop, POC, Pilot, SOW, RFP, and implementation in order to provide a partner for life’ experience
Have strong Customer Relationship Skills, a Consultative and Collaborative Approach and is Able to Achieve "Trusted Advisor role with Partners and Partner Prospects
Possess Strong Communication and Presentation Skills, able to present at all levels (C-Level, Tech Level, Biz level)
Extremely Organized and able to Drive / Quarterback Multiple Technical Account Plans and Activities
Understand and can Articulate Business Justification / Value Positioning
Ability to conceptualize and articulate complex requirements, solutions and the "Art of the Possible"
Ability to work across various organizations and levels to drive continuity and action
Achieve quarterly revenue target and agreed MBOs

Education / Licensing / Certification :
Technical Degree or equivalent experience
