Designing and implementing the strategic plan for our global Safety and Risk operations organization.

The Safety and Risk operations team is the engine scaling the execution of Stripe's safety and risk policies and products.

We are seeking a senior, strategic Business Enablement leader to partner closely with Risk and Operations Leaders, cross-functional teams, and Stripe business leaders to design, build, and deliver the strategy that enables the organization to provide the best user and agent experiences while helping Stripe grow safely and efficiently.

In this expansive senior leadership role, you'll be building and leading teams of global program managers across business engagement, PMO, and tools and systems functions and you'

ll work directly with our centralized Insights & Planning team to drive rigorous, data-driven development of the strategy for our Safety and Risk operations organization.

You will :

Work closely with the Head of Safety and Risk Operations, Insights & Planning, and org leaders to develop an organizational strategy to enable and scale the Stripe business

Build the roadmap for the Safety and Risk Ops, the plan to execute it both in the short-term and long-term, and work cross-functionally to gain alignment across the organization

Futureproof our organization by proactively evolving our operational strategy, while also solving our day-to-day challenges with Stripe'

s fast-growing operational volume and accelerating product launches

Work directly with the broader risk organization and Stripe business to implement the highest ROI and scalable operational investments for user experience and protecting Stripe

Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing team of managers, program managers, and analysts

Collaborate closely with business, risk, and operations functions to drive best case outcomes for our users and Stripe

We're looking for someone who has :

10+ years of experience in operations management, strategy & operations, or management consulting

Experience leading, mentoring, managing, and developing multiple teams program managers and analysts, including experience as a manager of managers

Experience building and leading strong cross-functional partnerships with business, operations, product, and engineering teams, and influencing cross-functional stakeholder roadmaps

A proven track record of working well across teams and functions to execute outcomes for the business and users

Experience leading end-to-end execution of projects / programs that have transformed their company's operations and delivered quantifiable business impact

Proven track record of successfully identifying and implementing large-scale, strategic solutions

Ability to influence and partner with technical and cross-functional teams, specifically with business, product, and engineering teams

Strong critical thinking and data-analysis skills with experience navigating large data sets

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a precise talent for articulating risk and customer issues and balancing competing priorities
