We are looking for our 65.000 m 2 warehouse in Born a Facility Manager who Coordinate, purchase, plan and control equipment and facility support services performed by external suppliers to ensure optimum service levels against favorable costs and in order to have a smooth running operation.

KEY ACTIVITIES

This role will be based in our 65.000 m 2 warehouse in Born. You will be reporting directly to the Site Manager. Key activities for this role include :

  • Being in direct contact with various suppliers;
  • Owner of the Maintenance planning for Yard, Building and equipment;
  • SLA management with suppliers and support to Procurement in establishing specifications, including contract negotiations with various suppliers;
  • Participating in improvement project teams;
  • Taking care of installation of new equipment and services;
  • Monitoring of costs and savings;
  • Leading implementation and maintenance projects in the warehouse and ensuring that they are carried out on time and accurately;
  • Ensuring that all guidelines, rules and procedures are communicated in a correct manner to the operations and management teams;
  • Preparing various reports and making recommendations on request and / or proactively.

    Profile

    For this role we are looking for a candidate with a positive and enthusiastic mindset, passion for logistics and strong motivation.

    He / she is a flexible problem-solver with a strong hands-on mentality.

    We are looking for an employee with :

  • HBO / Bachelor degree in Facility Management;
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role preferably within a logistics organization;
  • Good command of both English and Dutch language in speaking and writing;
  • Independent, proactive and able to make things happen.
