Long Description

Principal Accountabilities

In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to :

Planning and Business Development

  • Collaborate with the Retail management and receives supervision in the determination of actions to implement.
  • Fulfill with the assigned sales quota and with the profitability objectives, market participation and company strategy about the products in the channel under supervisor s instruction.
  • Keep updated all the products line related to purchases and inventories.
  • Safeguard the Epson image in front of the society and the customers.
  • Act according the labor practices manual of Epson.
  • Keep absolute confidentiality about the strategic information of the company.
  • Estimate adequately the business for each period.
  • Generate business opportunities and marketing actions to promote the products
  • Analyze available data about the market and clients, in order to detect opportunities and risks in his portfolio.
  • Make a follow up of the objectives, identifying significant deviations and its causes to apply corrective actions, reporting continuously to the Management.
  • Analyze the clients requirements and advise them in order to define the best economic-technical offer for each one.
  • Work in conjunction with the channels sector for the actions implementation.
  • Performances and Commercial Techniques
  • Handle and apply the forecast tools of sales volume.
  • Supervise the points of sale and keep a good products exhibition.
  • Inform actions of the competition on time and form.
  • Visit frequently the clients and potential clients.
  • Present offers and negotiate looking for the best to Epson and the client.
  • Assure the products availability in the channel.
  • Propose to each client an adequate stock for his operation.
  • Analyze the causes of the stock missing and generate adequate actions to avoid its repetition.
  • Propose and obtain the clients commitment with the development plans.
  • Make presentations of proposals (new products incorporation, promotional plans, etc.) marking the benefits for the client.
  • Assist the clients objections, identifying its true magnitude and compare valid arguments.
  • Follow up to the problems in order to assure fast and effective responses.
  • Control the products rotation and inventories in the points of sale.
  • Organize promotional events, assure the POP material delivery, control that are respected the suggested prices, keep informed of the status in the points of sale, and inform to the Marketing department to generate new actions.
  • Marketing and Merchandising

  • Develop the product lines in all its potential, considering the particular characteristics of each client.
  • Apply exhibition techniques and positioning strategies, to obtain the most adequate space in the points of sale.
  • Responsible for :

  • Minimum Experience Requirements

    B - Requires some specialist or admin experience (2- 5 years)

    Education

    E - Completion of an undergraduate program required (B.A. or B.S.).
