Jobs Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pre-sales - assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
  • Coordinate and run demo labs or proof-of-concepts required by customers.
  • Perform demos, webinars, and talks to partners, customers, and prospects for delivering Fortinet’s cybersecurity message.
  • Understand the needs and requirements of customers to deliver a high-level designs and architectures.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support to Fortinet Sales representatives, Fortinet resellers and distributors, to positively influence sales within the region.
  • Create / Modify / Translate technical documentation related to Fortinet products.
  • Give proper follow-up to key projects and promptly report any deviation or potential issue, so the sales counterpart can be aware and proactively work on it.
  • Support educational efforts (both in-classroom and remote) targeted to keep a high degree of knowledge about Fortinet’s solutions, to the partners, reseller, and distributor base.
  • Participate in product development initiatives like beta tests, product GUI translations to Spanish, new features requests, engineering feedback, etc.
  • Conversant with networking applications and solutions.
  • Post-sales - be the lead technical contact for identified accounts for technical issues and will work closely with the technical support team and engineering to answer, elevate, and resolve customer's technical issues.
  • Provide assistance to identified partners with post-sales training.
  • Key Qualifications

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree;
  • or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.

  • SALES : Typically requires 5-8 years of field sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, deploy, and operate a range of cybersecurity tools.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of the government procurement process
  • Experience in technical / pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, and internet services
  • Strong understanding of encryption and authentication technologies required
  • Fluent in English
  • Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Technical Certifications from organizations such as ISC2, CompTIA, Sans, Fortinet, and ISACA are a plus
