The Role Responsibilities
Responsible for the design and development of reports using various reporting tools according to business requirements.
Creates and maintains database objects in support of application development.
Support the automation and distribution of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports, and maintains report integrity.
Work in an agile environment with a continuous delivery model. Serve as member of Scrum development team to deliver technology solutions in Agile fashion including, but not limited to, spring planning, complexity analysis, stand-up and retrospective meetings.
Communicate timely build status on development items, as well as raise / work to resolve issues impacting development.
Experience in Crystal Report, Talend, Business Objects, OpenSSH, SFTP, MQ, IMFT and other tools as desirable.
Involved in enhancement developing Stored Procedures, Functions, Views and Triggers, Complex Oracle PL / SQL.
Design and build smart, scalable, performant solutions to tight deadlines, using Java, Shell Script, SQL Loader and other tools as desirable.
High integrity, self-motivated and ability to identify problems, contribute, propose solutions and follow-up diligently towards resolution.
Team player and able to learn quickly and work effectively in a global team.

Coordinate with resources and teams across different locations

Responsible for capability development of the team / unit
Responsible for conducting appraisals, feedback & handling work allocations for direct reports &
reviewing the same for indirect reports.
Responsible for managing the career growth, motivation & retention for the assigned group
Risk Management
Continuous management of the Trade Application System risks
Proactively identify issues and actions
Monitor and remediate issues and actions from audits
Awareness of the regulatory world and knowledge of AML, Fraud, Screening, Data Quality needs and ensuring these are catered for in the functional design
Governance
Ensure adherence to Systems Development Framework and control processes
Ensure delivery of all software artefacts
People Management
Coordinate across different teams and locations
Capability development of the team / unit

Our Ideal Candidate
Educational Qualification / Certification :
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent degree
Oracle Certified
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
JAVA Certification preferred
Mandatory Skills :
Simple and Complex SQLs, PL / SQL Functions and Procedures, Packages and creation of Oracle Objects - Tables, Materialized views, Triggers, Synonyms, User Defined Data Types, Nested Tables and Collections related database skill
Programming like Java, shell script is required
Reporting skills like Crystal Report, crystal command, BO (Business Objects) is required.
Experience in Agile environment
Exceptional troubleshooting and investigative skills. In possession of a strong sense of ownership and accountability
The ability to manage competing priorities from a variety of stakeholders.
Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering a solution that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities
Should have participated in, and be familiar with, SDLC and Agile (Scrum) project methodologies
Proficiency in :
Experience on DevOps approaches like Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory, JIRA, Confluence
Optional Skills :
Knowledge in file transfer technologies (OpenSSH, and ISIS, and SFTP) and ETL tool.
Strong presentation and communication skills
Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs
Prior Experience
Banking / FinTech experience preferred
At least 4-6 years with software development background with proven track record of hands-on programming, report design and development.
