About Our Client

To support their current expansion plan, they are currently looking for invidivuals with solid years of working exeprience in Finance / Accounting.

Job Description

Key responsibilities and job scope include but not limited to the followings :

Setup and standardize processes globally and leadership of the Global Statutory operations.

Manage the end-to-end statutory processes to ensure compliance, timely, accurate and reliable reporting for all entities globally.

Responsible to ensure new entities or reporting requirements are onboarded and updated into the Global Statutory central database.

Partnering with key stakeholders to ensure statutory processes and controls are operating effectively.

Escalation point for local Statutory and Tax Controllers and Corporate functions for entities and supporting issue resolution for this process.

Ensure complete and accurate documentation and retention of records for legal entities globally.

Other ad-hoc projects as and when required (transformation).

The Successful Applicant

At least an Accounting degree or related financial qualification (CPA).

Other qualifications, training or courses in related global statutory requirements will be added advantages.

More than 8 years working experience in Finance / Accounting related field with 4-5 years exposure in an SSC environment.

Strong working knowledge in accounting and key finance processes with IFRS and US GAAP and exposure in managing global / regional regulatory requirements.

Strong interpersonal skills, effective communicator and ability to lead / engage in cross-functional collaboration projects.

Proven ability to work in a global and diverse business environment.

Results driven, meticulous, good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in MS applications and ERP systems (knowledge of Oracle Fusion).
