SUMMARY The Employee Relations Lead is responsible for leading a team of Employee Relations Senior Specialists and Specialists across the Americas Region, ensuring the resolution of complex employee relations matters, performance management issues, policy violations and interpretation, and the investigation of employee complaints and / or conflicts.

Open to candidates on a full time or consultant basis. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Direct and assign tasks to Employee Relations Specialist and optimize use of resources to enhance productivity Resolve highly complex ER cases / problems by applying relevant policies, past practices and / or best practices to reach a conclusion.

Provide guidance and decision making in partnership with legal on the highest risk and most complex issues. Provide consultation, guidance and coaching to leaders and HR Business Partners on high risk / complex issues to address employee behavior and performance concerns, and provide guidance and assist with the development and delivery of appropriate feedback or corrective / disciplinary actions.

Provide consultation with respect to reasonable accommodations, termination requests, reduction in force and other related areas Conduct investigations in response to employee complaints Identify, recommend and oversee implementation of appropriate actions to resolve employee concerns Provide guidance support and training to HRBPs, managers and employees on employee relations issues Utilize data entering the COE to identify trends and risk in order to recommend proactive solutions, training and / or education Maintains appropriate records of investigations Provide direction to Employee Relations Specialists regarding case management and data entry In conjunction with Legal, oversee labor relations matters In conjunction with Legal, oversee HR Compliance matters SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES TECHNICAL Breadth and depth knowledge of employment, wage and hour, FMLA, and EEO laws and regulations Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and WebEx or other telecommunications software Ability to use case management system and reporting systems INTERPERSONAL Excellent written and verbal communications skills Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality Proven work experience in managing others and building high performing teams Effective in exercising good judgment in making independent decisions with a high degree of tact and diplomacy Results focused with the capability of coordinating with diverse disciplines Ability to recommend and / or apply appropriate action based on policy / procedure and / or business practice History of well-developed integrity and ethical behavior Ability to maintain neutrality and calm demeanor in tense / conflict-ridden situations EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Industrial or Labor Relations or other related field Post-graduate experience in Human Resource or Legal, preferred Minimum of 5 7 years of employment relations experience SYSTEMS USED CRM Tool (TBD) Kenexa (Current) " Workday (Future) POPULATIONS SERVED Employees, Managers HR
