    What you will be doing

  • Full P&L (working to key margins across rooms, F&B, Tours and General and Administration) and operational responsibility for all properties within their jurisdiction
  • Provide local input to define the country strategy
  • Monitor schedules of all departments and ensure labour efficiency (payroll : revenue ratio) be a strategic driver in all country-level partnerships.
  • Lead the country management and GM team to ensure that the business delivers its commercial,
  • EBITDA and new site opening plans; all in line with the brand
  • Actively participate in all hiring and training activities at country level and the recruitment of general managers for all locations in the country
  • Liaise with the representatives of the different global departments to ensure they provide the right level and quality of support to the locations in the assigned country.
  • Work closely with the Country HR to build significant people capability and developing a strong pool of talent within the business from country managers down to property level
  • Personally oversee all country level procurement negotiations.
  • Promote healthy relationships with other businesses and neighbours in the areas of our locations
  • Keep innovating and bring improved standards, processes and training as the
  • business continues to grow
  • Be a vocal advocate for the Selina experience and brand
  • Act as a legal representative for Selina in the assigned country
  • Supervise the environmental health and safety staff or services in line with compliance

  • Drive your country / property teams to embody the spirit of the Selina brand and support the roll-out of initiatives from global teams to drive awareness, culture and financial performance
  • What you need for the role

  • An excellent track record of commercial and results delivery throughout their career
  • At least 5 years’ experience in multi-site operations or occupying a senior management role
  • Experience of taking a business through a phase of growth / expansion
  • Smart and strategic, but a real operator who is happy to be hands-on and get into the detail and lead from the front
  • Be entirely at ease operating in an autonomous environment and have a sense of urgency, high energy levels and thrive with low support
  • A leader with exceptional people development skills the ability to inspire and engage large teams but also encourage a culture of learning, training and support
  • A structured individual who can bring process and discipline to the operating model creating a framework that does not stifle creativity or entrepreneurial flair
  • Highly numerate with the ability to use data to make informed decisions
  • English fluent and Native Language of the Country Assigned
  • Strong management and negotiation skills
  • The ability to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact
  • Experience working in multicultural environments (preferred)
