Our client, one of the world's largest IT companies based in UK, is currently hiring for its growing teams! They are looking for a Service Desk candidate who can speak, write and read Mandarin to join their expanding service desk team.

Job Description

Provide level 1-2 support to end users via telephone calls and incident tickets.

Configure, install & troubleshoot hardware and software with minimal guidance.

Monitor control systems and take prescribed actions (incident trending with recognition of symptoms and analysis of console logs and displays to diagnose problematic thresholds toward application of preventative measures).

Contribute in the planning, design, development and effectuation of improvements with focus on simplification and optimization of processes.

Meet with clients, peers and decision makers to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues.

Prioritize and perform routine tasks (Extensive support contact to internal users of all levels of the organization with focus on complex issues).

Measure and report on services rendered, solutions delivered and problems resolved (tracking and reporting activities, accomplishments and recommendations).

Recommend process and procedural improvements for PC hardware and software.

Involved in decision making according to established guidelines, standards and procedures.

Contribute in knowledge transfer from Integration Team following problem escalation.

Install and troubleshoot client machines, handheld devices, hardware, applications and software.

Research on hardware and software products to contribute to developing roadmaps for solutions recommendations.

Manage documentation and dispatching of complex PC issues, Network, Messaging, Server and other concerns to appropriate parts of the organization.

Participate in the deployment of personal computing solutions in support of business units.

Deploy service solutions that simplify processes, optimize service delivery and / or solve problems.

The Successful Applicant

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent.

3 years of experience in Service Desk / Helpdesk, IT technical support.

Able to speak, read and write in Mandarin and English.

ITIL Foundation Certificate would be preferred.

Proficient use, configuration and trouble-shooting of Windows OS, Office Suites software, PC hardware and handheld devices.
