Objectives

  • Manage the development and implementation of brand and trade strategies to support company objectives for allocated Moose Brands and Licensed Products;
  • including promotional and marketing programs, overall product and brand life cycle management and management of key agency relationships.

    Primary Skills :

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret industry insights, marketing campaign results and action findings.
  • Understanding of budgets and their application.
  • Demonstrable experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with Retailers and the Media.

  • Creative ability with good verbal and written skills.
  • Computer literacy including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (as well as exposure to updating websites and social media).
  • Flexibility to work effectively and efficiently autonomously as well as collaboratively in a group environment.
  • A demonstrated ability to assimilate into a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture.
  • Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Must hold relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field e.g. Bachelor of Marketing.
  • Experience or knowledge of the toy industry and consumer marketing to children would be highly regarded.
  • Responsibilities : Business Planning

    Business Planning

  • Marketing strategy - In conjunction with the Senor Brand Manager, assist in developing, executing and owning marketing plans, communication, activity planning, key drivers and publicity.
  • Understand strategic marketing plans and execute creative strategy for marketing launch of new brands and products, inclusive of briefing new assets, creative direction / briefs, sample requests and asset management.
  • Distribution strategy - in conjunction with sales team, develop retail strategy by brand.
  • Brand and item sales forecast - In conjunction with Sales team, ensure marketing plans support business objectives.
  • Inventory planning to ensure on time delivery, consistent supply to customers and marketing campaign alignment.
  • Develop, execute and assist in day-to-day marketing activities, including local insights collection and synthesis of performance or brand / products.
  • Perform quarterly brand health checks to ensure forecast is being met, marketing budgets are in line with actual sales performance and brand is meeting expectations.
  • Develop, execute and assist in US marketing programs across multiple channels including TV, PR, Events, Digital, Social, etc with limited budget in mind.
  • Trade marketing strategy development and execution - in store POS, catalogue planning.
  • Brand Management

  • Work closely with the global marketing team to execute U.S. campaigns to ensure full alignment between U.S. market needs on deliverables and timings.
  • Brand and product launch timing including product life cycle planning, future product planning and exclusive opportunities.
  • Internal Stakeholder Management including communication of brand issues including product development, brand direction, strategy.
  • Undertake relevant market research e.g. focus groups, reporting findings and providing recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Regularly analyse market data, report findings to relevant team members.
  • In conjunction with the sales team, present marketing plans and new product ranges to retailers.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of internal and external promotional events and materials such as Toy Fair, customer presentations, etc.
  • Assigned Agency and Brand Relationships

  • Supplier forecasts.
  • Pre and post brand performance analysis.
  • Market analysis.
  • External stakeholder management ensuring strong relationships
  • Other general duties as required.
