Implement development of eLearning or instructor-led training courses based upon technical documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
Develop training curricula based upon input from and the needs of the business. Assess success and efficiency of the training.
Assess current training curriculum and update as required. Coordinate and deliver training and learning best practices as needed.
Develop mechanisms for monitoring training instructional design, coordination, delivery, and materials production.
Instructor / Trainers will manage the entire process related to the competency management program for panel operators. Duties include :
Review unit specific OTS workbook and prepare to deliver Unit Specific Process OTS to Board operators. Training on using OTS will be provided by Honeywell.
Utilize Honeywell’s Operator Training Simulators to deliver training to operators based on the planned schedule.
Working with Honeywell and Client SMEs, create What if and Diagnostic exercises in Honeywell Tutor software package. Training on using the software package will be provided by Honeywell.
Prepare & Deliver assessments in OTS and Tutor environment to operators and assess for technical and behavior proficiency.
Generate reports twice a month of actual progress towards planned detailing work performed, barriers to project completion, actual hours expended to planned.
YOU MUST HAVE
A technical degree from a reputable institution engineering degree preferred
Over 5 years of work experience in process industry in the Operations environment (e.g. Operations engineer, Operator, etc.).
Must have relevant experience in one of these process units : UOP Fluid Catalyst Cracking Unit (FCC), Diesel Hydrotreating Unit (HTD) or Catalytic Reformer Unit (RCA).
At least 3 years of background in development and delivery of training in process industry
Can take instructions, manage his / her time and finish the task in allotted time in the desired quality
At least 2 project with experience in simulation based training delivery
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proficient in English and has experience delivering training to operator
Can demonstrate that he / she can work in a team environment
Project Management experience is a plus
Excellent writing and editing skills
Knowledge of eLearning course applications, including Lector, Articulate and more
Experience with Learning Management Systems
Ability to adapt to evolving products and technology
Experience as a trainer / educator for technical products
Excellent team and communication skills
An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
An ability to influence across a broader organization
