What the role is

The Housekeeper will give day by day support to the Operations Manager and supervises the work activities of housekeepers to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive rooms at including assigning duties, inspecting work and investigating complaints regarding housekeeping service.

Need to be on top of cleaning equipment and storage. Report all damaged or missing things on Hotel, extend professionalism and courtesy to staff.

What you will be doing

  • Assign housekeepers their duties and inspect work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness, assuring team work and coordination of efforts among staff in accomplishing tasks
  • Monitor and control inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies and kitchen, floors, desks, fans, offices, rugs, F&B areas, etc. clean.
  • Notify Operation Manager each week or each fifteen days about supplies that are needed (inventory) to order it.
  • Respond to guest queries and requests with a friendly and helpful demeanor
  • Coordinate work activities among departments
  • Investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems;
  • bring solution to Operations Manager

  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork
  • Make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation
  • Step in for other housekeeping staff as needed
  • Train all Cleaning new staff.
  • Attend staff meetings as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager or other management
  • What you need for the role

  • 1-2 years of experience in similar roles
  • Organized and responsible person.
  • Team management
  • Tourism / Hotel management background
  • Cleaning and organize spaces ability.
  • Good attitude.
